Missed the first 3 months of school due to surgeries, but kept up with work in Cincinnati, thanks to a bunch of great teachers at home and away to help her
Underwent 10 facial surgeries in 5 months, each of them tremendously painful
Missed her tennis season - the hardest sacrifice of all
Got a new dog as a reward for handling the surgeries so well - she named her "Oreo," and is grateful to her Aunt and Uncle, who acquired the dog for her!
Loved the visits from Grandma & Grandpa and Aunt Rache while in Cincinnati
Was very blessed by the Ronald McDonald House Charity for providing a comfortable place to recuperate in Ohio
Enjoyed a visit to her sister Cami's home TWICE during the year - once during Spring Break, and again during the July 4th holiday
