We Named Our Home

Six beautiful daughters graced our home through the years, bookended by a set of twins (firstborn) and a special adopted little lady (caboose). During the course of our marriage, we've lived in 18 different houses, but always retained a single sense of home. "WHICKSTONE" represents the combination of our two separate identities into a cohesive oneness that provided warmth, comfort, love and learning for our little hive of busy bees.

Pam:

The first quarter century of my life was spent in a pretty little town in Northern Utah. My Dad owned and operated a Texaco service station on Main Street. My three younger siblings were well cared for by our mother, and we enjoyed frequent visits with both sets of grandparents living nearby. Yellowstone National Park was the only vacation spot we knew.

Glenn:

A military brat, I lived in ten different homes during my first ten years of life. My Dad was a flight engineer in the Air Force, an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanic, and help a commercial pilot license. My mother lovingly cared for nine children at home.

From Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT), to the Peacetime Aerial Reconnaissance Program (PARPRO), the Gulf War, we stuck together as a family. Not even tornadoes, flameouts, surgeries, high-altitude sickness, crashes or the stresses of the Pentagon could separate this cohesive group!
