Jami (19) is a sophomore at BYU, still trying to decide what to major in.  She has really blossomed this year and has some awesome roommates she just loves.  She is the lucky one who gets to spend extra time with baby Tyler, so we're all al bit jealous!   She works part-time and takes a heavy load at school, so she's making quick progress in her studies.  We miss having her around home.

Ali (almost 18) has her application in to BYU and hopes to get her acceptance notice in January.  She misses her friends in Nebraska, and looks forward to reuniting with some of them at college.  She's always full of energy, with a happy smile - as her friends say, she is "fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting!"  Ali is a joy to have around.

Lyndsey (11) will soon enter the Young Women's organization of the Church, and is quite excited about that.  She not only had the challenge of the move this year, but also had to transition from elementary to middle school.  Big changes!  She made the 6th grade girl's volleyball team, and was doing quite well when they canceled the season due to the DC area sniper rampage.  Hopefully, she'll be able to continue developing that talent next year.

Katie is almost 7 and really enjoying first grade.  She continues to amaze us with her inquisitiveness and a twinge of mischievousness!  She now has a bone-anchored hearing aid (BAHA), which has increased her hearing significantly.  This coming year will bring braces and a jaw distraction, in an attempt to allow her to eat by mouth more easily so she can get rid of the g-tube, and maybe even the trach.  Katie loves life, and is always excited to learn more.
