Katilyn was born with a serious birth defect known as Treacher Collins Syndrome. She is not the natural child of Glenn and Pam, but they feel that God performed a miracle in letting them have her. She is very well taken care of and loved!
The adoption was final on the 20th of May, 1997, and plans were made for the blessing and sealing of Katilyn to her family through the great gift of the Atonement and the power of the Priesthood of God. On 25 May, 1997, Katilyn was given a name and a blessing by her Daddy and both of her grandfathers, along with Ronald L. Johnson, a close friend from Kaysville, Utah, along with their home teachers and others from the Prince William Ward, of which Glenn was, at the time, Bishop. On the early morning of the 26th of May, all 8 of the Glenn R. Whicker family, as well as Ben & Rea Whicker and Boyce and Rada Stones (the four grandparents), Aunt Rea Jo Whicker Richey, Aunt Rachael Whicker Lindsey, Aunt Katrina Jensen Whicker and her mother Edith Jensen, "Uncle" Ron Johnson, Katilyn's nurse, Laurie Davies and her husband and several other close friends in the Ward, and Mike Moyes from Baer, Delaware (Glenn's best friend in high school), all traveled to the Washington D.C. temple for the sealing of Katilyn to her parents and sisters. It was a wonderful experience! rcw
Knowledge of God's will concerning Katilyn coming to the Glenn Whicker family was revealed by a vision to Glenn. That was a sacred and reverent event, and is contained in Glenn's journal of 1994.

2nd Husband, Donald Ruel Campbell
JULIE D. WHICKER WAS BORN IN HER GRANDPARENTS' HOME, 90 NORTH 500 EAST,
KAYSVILLE, UTAH.
BIRTH: THE LOVE KNOT family newsletter, April 1992.
Marilyn and Charles were not legally married. They separated after about two
years. The baby was born after their separation. Marilyn was married to Mr.
Becker, had three children and then lived with another man by the name of
Burns, by whom she bore one more child. All of the above were boys. Her legal
name remains Becker because she was never divorced from her husband. She did
not live with him, however, after the birth of her first three sons. rcw
