Centerville, Iowa, up to Des Moines by himself to get the child, as his wife
wasn't able to make the trip. rcw

January 1997 obituary of Guy Quinton Andrews indicates that the marriage place
for he and Sylvia Jane Whicker was in Barton County rather than Jasper. rcw
Uncle Guy Andrews was a member of the First Christian Church, Jasper, MO. He
personally gave all of the information on his parents' and
grandparents' families and on his children and their spouses in 1993. His
parents and siblings moved from Illinois to Arkansas and then to Barton County,
Missouri in 1909, farming in the Coon Creek area NE of the city of Jasper. In
1951, he and his wife moved to Jasper. rcw
BIRTH: p. 349, typewritten extract of birth register, Appanoose Co., Iowa,
lists only the year of his birth, and states it as 1913; however, personal
knowledge of Beulah B. King Whicker gives this more exact date.
DEATH: Fairview Cemetary, Udell Township, Appanoose County, Iowa, and
personal knowledge of Nellie Whicker Heckman, obtained 19 Jan 1992. Lesta
was age 19 and died shortly after marrying Ralph.
