1490. William Joseph Archer Whicker
William was always called by his three initials, "W.J.A." This fact was
written to me in a letter from W.J.A.'s grandson's wife in 1969. Her name is
Mrs. William (Mary) M. Whicker, address at that time was 4986 Verosa Ave.,
Memphis, TN 38117. At that time, I did not know much about our Whickers, and
do not know if Mrs. William M. Whicker is still alive. rcw

The two children born to Nancy Elizabeth Wicker did not belong to her husband,
according to the Wicker/Whicker book. She was reportedly married in 1891,
while the children were born in 1879 and 1882. The 1900 census needs to be
checked to see if there were more children after she married. rcw
