married, according to family tradition.
Jesse Johnson Wicker married a first wife, name unknown, in about 1855. rcw
David was the guardian for his brother's children in 1841 after their parents'
deaths. They were in already David's household in the 1840 census. rcw
I believe there is some question about the parentage of Susan Elizabeth. The
1850 and 1860 census needs to be inspected to see what relationship they give
between Susan E. and Robert K., son of Kenneth, who SHOULD be Susan's cousin.

This son was born many years before Priscilla's marriage to Joseph Buchanan
between 1823 ad 1840. rcw
Ansel Wicker, age 10, was listed as a recipient of the Poor School Fund in
1832 in Washington Co., Georgia. If this is the same person, his birthdate
would have been in 1822. Also listed were James Wicker, age 8; Thomas Wicker,
age 13. In the 1835 list for this fund, another Thomas Wicker, age 13, was
listed, along with Nancy Wicker, age 9. rcw
