(Wicker/Whicker Book) rcw
All of the children's birthdates and LDS ordinance dates were taken from the
International Genealogical Index, F# 1903944 and F#537148. The second film
evidently has names and relationships of others stated in the source, but I
have not checked those. The first film has no additional information in the
film. rcw

279. Temperance Hester

Removed to Stokes Co., NC according to Wicker/Whicker book. rcw

260. Benjamin Whicker Jr.

Deed and court record information for Benjamin shown on pp. 43-44, "The
Wicker/Whicker Family" by R.F. Wicker, 1989.

This is probably the Benjamin Whickor shown in VA IGI as being born 13 Jul
1719. Am checking source.

262. Jemima Whicker

BIRTH: Daughters of American Revolution Lineage Records.
The Ancestral File has Jemima married to JOHN HESTER on the same date as we
have her marriage to Gideon Crews. The AF also states that her death date was
in June of 1825, just as we do. Needs research. No record of a second
marriage. The IGI also has her married to Gideon Crews in 1755. rcw

Gideon Crews was a patriot and signed Oath of Allegiance to State of North
Carolina and against George III 30 May 1778. He received pay for army service
as a soldier. His musket has been kept in the museum at Guildord Battleground.
